The same formats are used for Source and Destination addresses. Substitute "Destination" for "Source" below if desired.


Notes


  1. Part of the NPDU (Network Layer Protocol Data Unit)
  2. SADR - Ultimate Source MAC Layer Address, as opposed to SA - Local Source Address
  3. If the SADR exists, then the message has arrived from a router (Section 6.5.4, page 57)
  4. A device need not know it's own Network Number. (Section 6.5.4, page 57)
